TowerFox

TowerFox is a Los Angeles-based startup that has the ambition to become the most powerful solution in the area of Bluetooth trackers and become a mainstream solution for protecting wallets from physical and cyber theft.

According to the fact, that every day, an estimated 400,000 people are victims of pickpockets somewhere in the world, the customer wanted to create the device, powerful enough to effectively prevent such crimes. Ordinary Bluetooth trackers are weak in the area of preventing theft because they notify owners too late. Because of that, a new approach was needed, combining several data sources and smart filters.

In order to achieve required functions and fit it all in a small case of a credit card size, GlobMill used a combination of technologies, such as BLE, smart proximity sensor, NFC jammer, and wireless charger. As a result, an owner has an extra level of protection not only against classical pickpocketing but also from scanning of bank cards and IDs.

To make even more impact to the solution for the theft problem, GlobMill proposed an integrated social feature of anonymous sharing of theft attempts, namely giving to the Police useful data about time and coordinates of the crimes.

As a result, a wallet owner has an extra level of protection not only against classic pickpocketing but also from scanning of bank cards and IDs.

Thanks to our experience in Low Energy solutions, Hardware, and Software expertise, the customer started negotiation with MasterCard corporation for implementing such a solution inside ordinary bank cards.
